1. The agreement

By using VowPetal (vowpetal.com), operated by VowPetal, Inc., a Delaware corporation, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be at least 18 to make purchases.

2. What VowPetal is

VowPetal is an AI wedding-planning service: a planning assistant, vendor discovery, and tools that generate speeches, invitations, AI photos, and short films. It is a planning aid, not a wedding planner of record, a booking agent, or professional advice.

3. AI-generated content — what to expect

• Generated text, images, and films are produced by AI. Images and films are synthetic — they look like photos but are AI-created, and we label them as such.
• AI output can be imperfect or inaccurate. Review speeches before delivering them and invitations before printing them.
• Vendor information is gathered from public sources and shown with citations. Always verify details — prices, availability, contact info — directly with a vendor before booking or paying anyone. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a vendor.

4. Your content and your responsibilities

• You keep all rights to what you upload and to the content generated for you. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process it to provide the service.
• Only upload photos you have the right to use, of people who are aware and okay with it — for couple photos, that means both of you.
• Don't use VowPetal to create content that impersonates or depicts identifiable people without their consent, or for anything unlawful, harassing, or deceptive.
• You're responsible for activity under your account; keep your credentials to yourself.

5. Plans, credits, and billing

• Free tier — a monthly message allowance and trial generations, with limits shown in the product. We may adjust free limits over time.
• VowPetal Pro — a monthly or yearly subscription, billed by Stripe, that renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Pro includes a monthly credit allowance; unused allowance credits lapse when the month renews or the subscription ends. Pro is subject to fair use — generous limits that exist to stop abuse, not normal planning.
• Credit packs — one-time purchases. Pack credits never expire and are unaffected by your subscription. Credits (from packs or Pro) pay for generations such as photos, invitations, and films; costs are always shown before you confirm.
• If a generation fails on our side, the credits it consumed are refunded to your balance automatically.
• Prices are shown at purchase; we may change pricing going forward with notice, never retroactively.

6. Refunds

Credit-pack purchases are refundable within 30 days if none of the pack's credits have been used; once credits from a purchase are spent, it becomes non-refundable. Subscription payments are non-refundable once the period has started, except where the law of your country says otherwise. To request a refund, email ceo@VowPetal.com with your account email. If a technical failure on our side prevents you from using what you paid for, we'll make it right — restored credits or a refund.

7. Our IP

The VowPetal service — its software, design, brand, and content we authored — belongs to VowPetal, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by law. These terms don't transfer any of it to you beyond the right to use the service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including outcomes of vendor relationships or decisions made from AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using VowPetal and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; where reasonable we'll warn you first.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product or by email, and continued use after that means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
